Bridges

A bridge is made of porcelain fused to metal (PFM) or ceramics, is used to replace one or more missing teeth, and can be supported by natural teeth or implants. A crown (cap) is created for the teeth (or on implants) on either side of the space to create a ‘bridge.’  The false tooth or teeth are attached to the crowns and fill the empty space.

 

​With proper care and hygiene, the supporting teeth can remain healthy and the bridge can last five to fifteen years – if not longer!
